Rush Central kicked off their first competition at United Futsal’s Champions Cup Series Great Lakes Regional. Hosted at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Chicago this past December, the players enjoyed highly competitive matches. Rush brought 5 teams to the competition.

2011, led by Chicago Rush player, Lorne Schiller and Minnesota Rush players Andrew Guitierrez and GK Noah Elder finished as finalists. The 2012 team, led by MN Rush players Jackson Niven and GK Lucas Benz and SWMO Rush player Ethan Hurst finished 4th. The 2013 team, led by MN Rush players Mason Arnold and Axel Guitierrez, fished 4th as well. The 2014 team, led by MN Rush players Zak Lee and GK Jacob Elder, finished 3rd after a nail-biting PK shootout in the 3rd/4th place game. The 2015 team, led by MN Rush players Cael Covar and Danny Nasr and SWMO Rush player Nolan Rockne finished as finalists after a heartbreaking loss in the finals.

All the teams represented Rush Futsal well and respected the game to the utmost. The players are looking forward to the Nationals and Worlds in Orlando this summer.
