Goalkeeping Development

Rush Soccer places special attention to assisting all Rush goalkeepers and GK Coaches in our network.

Led by Sean Connors, Rush Soccer’s Global GK Director, the club provides yearly Goalkeeping Curriculum available for download at no cost, as well as access to all of it’s sessions and activities through The Rush Coaching Manual. GK specific coaching education is also made available through the Rush Soccer Development Blog, which is completely free to access for all Rush Coaches.

One of the stellar initiatives that Sean and the RSD team lead is our GK Talent ID Program, which aims to assist our best High School Goalkeepers and provide a resource in the college process as we work to be the first stop for college coaches when they need to recruit a Goalkeeper in a particular class. Goalkeepers are unique when it comes to recruiting as it can be difficult to properly evaluate during the typical college showcase. By utilizing the Rush network we assist College Coaches all over the country to try to find good opportunities for our players.
